The activities in the frame of the PRIN project ((Apricot genomics and transcriptomics to unravel the genetic bases of resistance to Sharka and the plant/virus interaction) will concern in vivo grafting and in vitro propagation of apricot cultivars, susceptible or resistant to PPV, to verify the timing of virus infection. On infected plants, transcriptome analysis for early interaction events will be done and validation of gene expression by RTqPCR.
